So, it seems I have amassed a number of new drawings in the past month or so that I have been meaning to post so here they are!

Some are drawn on location of various interesting locales here in Calgary, some are cartoon drawings of things I have eaten, and a mix of others.

Last weekend was Sketchcrawl!

I went out and drew one of the churches in part of Calgary known as Bridgeland as part of this latest Sketchcrawl(see below).

As well, to try and squeeze in some fun almost daily artwork I started doing tiny ink and watercolour drawings of my lunch (with a bit of a twist of course). It also gave me more opportunity to practice writing Hiragana (Japanese).

where’s the comics, what’s going on, etc, etc??

Sorry for the radio silence this past month…I have continued to draw paint and so on, just haven’t had anything that really fit the “comic” category.

I have also been teaching myself to read and write Japanese with some wonderful books by the fine folks at YesJapan.com called “Japanese from Zero”.

I have been making some ink and watercolour drawings out around town as well as at home so here are some for your enjoyment.

I had a really great time! It was incredible meeting so many of you and I have to say my fans are a pretty awesome set of folks, and I really appreciate you taking the time to stop by, pick up the books and all of the kind words (albeit a bit overwhelming on that last one ).

hi folks,

first off, apologies for the lack of comic updates…I have been a little bit sick, a little bit busy with work, and in my healthy free time (when I should have been updating comics on the site)…working on a brand new BOOK!!

“Well…this is awkward” is a brand new FULL COLOUR 66 page book collecting copious amounts of my watercolour paintings and comics that I will be debuting at the Calgary Comic Expo April 27-29, 2012!!(I will be at booth 1224)

It will also be available on Amazon like my last one, but of course is much better when you get it in person at the Expo
